Saturday June 8 was a busy day here, Art Walk kicked off
Friday night and goes until Sunday dinner, I believe

featured my work (a million thanks)  Michelle's work
is very spiritual, intricate and I have never seen anything
like it..very beautiful and the colours!!

Oakwood Art Festival

was introduced by a colleague of mine Cindy Beman
(Incredible committee member)
for the inner city Oakwood part of town
The launch was Friday night and the place was hopping
I especially liked the
Bavia Arts

the music was Brazilian and wonderful!
The ensemble is very talented and do lots of
teaching as well as performances..
 Classes in mask making
Brazilian ballroom dancing
Latin dancing
Instrument building,
Martial arts
Yoga!

I know a certain someone who would be
thrilled to have them come and dance at his 60th birthday!

I also met some wonderful artisans

Montage, the company I work for volunteered to do a mosaic around
the gardens at Vaughan Rd and Oakwood but the weather
did not hold out so will have to tackle it another day
The idea is to have all of the neighbourhood join in and when it started
to rain, we had a great group, and all promised to come back..
