TEXTILE PAINTINGS

When I was a youngster I used to collect bits of fabric and scotch tape them to my bedroom walls. I have always been fascinated with textiles, had my own floorcloth business and now am into the history of designs, weaving, tribal, clothing, rugs, well there is so much to learn. It is a wonderful discovery to paint the periods and put my slant on them.

I have this old storage drive and plugged it in this morning and found some work that I thought I had lost. I tend to paint very quickly, even with the detail and will have more than one on the go ... I get so excited with ideas  so have paintings all over the place, storage, friend's walls, my son has asked to not bring over any more.   ... some are available. Just email me!
